Those flying into McCarran International Airport (LAS) to see the bright lights of Las Vegas will find that since the airport is so close to the Strip, all of the ground transport options are equally appealing and competitively priced, with some hotel shuttles being available completely free of charge.

You will be able to travel to your Las Vegas casino or hotel via buses, shuttles, rental cars, limos and taxi cabs. Ground transport also connects many nearby destinations in surrounding Nevada, such as Boulder City, Callico, Enterprise, Henderson, Paradise, Spring Valley, Summerlin South, Sunrise Manor, Whitney and Winchester.

Buses

Buses are McCarran International Airport reach downtown hotels via bus routes 108 and 109. Operated by CAT Paratransit Services, Grayline Coaches, Westcliff Express, Strip & Downtown Express, and Showtime, buses run on a regular basis all through the week, 24 hours a day. From McCarran, the main stops are the Tropicana, the Government Center, the Bonneville Transit Center, the Westcliff Transit Center (park and ride), and West Charlston Boulevard / Durango Drive.

There is also a regular courtesy bus service connecting the remote car parking areas to the main terminal buildings, operating every 5 to 15 minutes.

Shuttle Buses

Information about shuttle services can be found at the Ground Transportation Center to the north and west of the baggage reclaim area. Shuttles run to the famous Las Vegas Strip, as well as hotels in the downtown district. The principal shuttles are operated by Havasu Vegas Express, River City, St. George and Tri State.

Taxi Cabs

The taxi journey from Las Vegas Airport into the downtown district will take just 10 minutes, with light traffic levels. Taxi cabs are based on the eastern side of the baggage reclaim, exits no. 1 to 4, with airport staff being on hand to assist passengers where necessary. The Rent-A-Car Center can also arrange taxi cabs if required. Popular LAS taxi companies include Checker, Deluxe Taxicab Service, Desert, Lucky Cab Company, Nellis, Virgin Valley, Western Cab Company and Whittlesea.

Limousines

A host of private car limousines can be booked in advance or from the airport's Ground Transportation Information counters. Bell Trans, CLS and Executive Las Vegas are the principal limousine companies in operation here.
